Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar (2012-2015). 
Currently conducting a PhD in Economics in the University of Calgary in Canada with the aim to study the relationships between poverty and economic behavior. Additionally I hold MA and Bachelor degrees in economics from los Andes University in Bogotá, Colombia. I have been Research Assistant in Colombia's Central Bank, Consultant for the World Bank and the Colombian's Presidency, and Project Associate with the institute ideas 42 from the Harvard University and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in my country. 
 
My main research interest is on poverty and specifically on how being poor modifies individual and group relationships. Additionaly, I am interested in the evaluation of the existing mechanisms to eradicate poverty as well as the formulation of new mechanisms to reach the same objective. I love working in the field. Finally, I enjoy riding on my bike, rock climbing, taking photographs and playing board games.
